About this role

Are you passionate about horses _and _helping people? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same? PARDS is looking for a dynamic and dedicated *Therapeutic Riding Instuctor* to join our team as we continue to grow and strengthen our accredited therapeutic riding program.

This role is a true ?all-hands-on-deck? position ? perfect for someone who loves variety, teamwork, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of others.

*What you?ll do*

* Teach *adaptive/therapeutic riding lessons *for children, youth, and adults of all abilities * Support *lesson preparation *and *barn operations*, including horse care and facility upkeep * Assist with the *training, care, and development of therapeutic horses* * Work closely with volunteers, staff, and rider to ensure lessons are *safe, professional, and fun* * Promote an inclusive, supportive environment that reflects PARDS? mission and values

*What we?re Looking For*

* Knowledge and/or experience working with people with disabilities or diverse needs * Solid horsemanship skills; minimum *Rider Level 2* (or equivalent experience) * Current *First Aid/CPR Certification* * Willingness to pursue *CanTRA Instructor certification* (support and mentorship provided!) * A team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine love for horses and people

* Location: PARDS Therapeutic Riding Centre ? Grande Prairie, AB * Hours: Part-time/Full-time (evenings/weekends may be required) * Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$21.33 per hour
