*Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer*
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Southern Alberta. In this role, you will take a lead in designing electrical power systems, lighting, lighting controls, and life safety systems for a wide range of projects including commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural facilities. You will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, resilience, and long-term performance of our clients? buildings while consistently delivering projects on schedule.

*Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive electrical design for small, medium, and large multi-discipline projects from conception through construction and commissioning. * Review, edit, modify, and approve electrical engineering work assigned to this position. * Prepare planning schedules for resources and completion times of assigned projects; monitor actual resource usage and act proactively to prevent cost overruns and schedule delays. * Collaboratively resolve technical challenges and navigate project requirements with clients, contractors, and regulatory officials. * Work closely with in-house structural and mechanical disciplines to support the seamless development of integrated design documents. * Conduct on-site reviews of construction and renovation projects to observe and evaluate the progress and quality of the work being performed.
*Requirements*
* Eligible to register as a P.Eng., P.L.Eng., or P.Tech.(Eng.) in Alberta. * At least 5 years of relevant experience, specifically with building electrical design. * Strong technical writing and communication skills.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*
* Proven ability to work with minimal oversight, demonstrate self-initiative, and function effectively in a team-based environment. * Knowledge of current regulatory authority requirements. * Well-developed client management expertise and experience coordinating with contractors. * Aptitude for and general understanding of construction methods and procedures.

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
