Boboto Care is a warm, fast-growing perinatal care collective providing personalized overnight newborn and postpartum support to families across Toronto and the GTA.
We are looking for experienced Overnight Postpartum Doulas who are warm, confident, dynamic, highly skilled and genuinely great with people.
Our clients have high standards of care, and so do we. We are intentional about welcoming doulas who bring both strong newborn skills and an amazing personality to every home.
Who We?re Looking For
We are looking for doulas who:
* Have supported a minimum of 8+ overnight postpartum/newborn clients * Are highly confident caring for newborns overnight * Have excellent references and ideally client reviews or testimonials * Are warm, calm, funny, personable and emotionally intelligent * Have exceptional attention to detail * Are reliable, punctual and professional * Are natural ?baby whisperers? and strong people persons * Work well independently while also being true team players * Communicate beautifully with families and fellow doulas * Are comfortable supporting families with different cultures, personalities and parenting styles
This role is ideal for established doulas who may already have their own clients or private practice but are looking for additional overnight hours, community and connection with like-minded perinatal professionals.
The Role
Typical overnight shifts are 8?10 hours, commonly 10 PM?6 AM or 8 PM?6 AM.
Responsibilities may include:
* Overnight newborn care * Feeding, burping, changing, soothing and settling * Bringing baby to parents for breastfeeding * Supporting newborn feeding goals * Following safe sleep practices * Tracking feeds, diapers and sleep * Bottle and pump-part washing * Newborn and postpartum education * Baby laundry, light tidying and simple meal preparation when time allows * Providing thoughtful end-of-shift updates to families
This is a newborn and postpartum support position, not a general housekeeping role.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Certified Postpartum Doula training * Minimum 8+ overnight postpartum/newborn clients * Significant hands-on newborn experience * Infant CPR and First Aid * Vulnerable Sector Check * Strong professional references * Legal authorization to work in Canada * Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your selected GTA service area
