The Quality Inn & Suites Petawawa, an eight-time Platinum Award winning hotel, and Choice Hotels Canada 2025 Hotel of the Year is currently seeking a select individual to join our front desk team. You must be available for:
* *Part-Time Hours: 16-24 hours a week; 4-6hr cover shift, 8hr shift* * *Must be comfortable to work alone* * *Must reside within a 30 minute commute of the hotel. No exceptions* * *Available for shift work - *Preference will be given to candidates with the most availability.
Job Duties
- Create exceptional guest stays by ensuring excellence in guest experiences through customer service interactions which include over the phone and in-person
- greet guests and provide them with local area information and well as hotel information
- enroll guests in hotel loyalty program through exceptional sales skills
- help to ensure the overall success of the hotel by creating memorable guest stays for everyone who visits us by providing exceptional customer service
- be efficient, a multitasker and comfortable with a fast-paced environment centered around guest services
- assist guests by taking reservations, modifying reservations, managing guest requests and answering a multi-line switchboard
- administrative duties such as answering emails, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel
- processing cash, debit and credit card payments
- setting up meeting rooms
- have a flexible schedule that allows for shift work which could include overnight shifts
- must be comfortable working alone
- light housekeeping duties such as mopping and folding towels
*Required Education, Skills and Qualifications*
