The Housekeeping Room Attendant will provide for the comfort of guests by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented. They will promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and will be able to address guest requests and problems.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms overhead, bending and crouching; * Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly; * Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash; * Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room; * Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart; * Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room; * Respond in a timely manner to guest requests for items, safety instructions, assistance, direction, and/or other information as requested; * Turn in all items found in ambassador's working area to hotel lost and found department; * Other duties as assigned such as assisting Houseperson when requested.

* Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly; * Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately; * Must be able to multi-task and delegate; * Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity; * Must routinely meet deadlines; * Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary; * Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests; * Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs; * Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces. * Must be available weekends

Part-time hours: 16-32 per week
*Shifts are primarily Wednesday - Sunday*
