*Job Description*
White Canvas Design Agency has an exciting opportunity to add a talented part-time intermediate Graphic Designer to our team. Hard work ethic, self-direction, creativity and a good sense of humour are an absolute must!
This position is a PT position and candidate must be located in the lower mainland area and be able to commute to our Langley office (#320-20178 96 ave) 3 days a week working 6-8 hours/day within the hours of 7:00am to 7:00pm PST (20 hours per week).
*Roles & Responsibilities*
* Design projects for clients across diverse industries, encompassing: * Print and digital advertising materials * Marketing materials (including signage, printed collateral, tradeshow items etc) * Developing brand identities (logo & visual identity creation) * Packaging design * Social media templates * Presentation materials and annual reports * Website UX/UI Design * Branding design, logo illustrations and experience working on large corporate branding projects * Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to translate ideas into visually striking designs that meet project objectives.
*Skills / Requirements*
* Completion of Design Certificate or Degree at a recognized institution * 3+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills * Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat * Proficiency in preparing artwork files for production * Understanding of Dropbox / Google Drive Applications * Experience working on Mac platform * Is an excellent communicator in both written and verbal form * Excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Has a positive attitude, is collaborative and works well in a team environment * Has a passion for all things design * Values work-life balance and self-care * Is a quick learner, and meets new challenges with determination * Bonus attributes: Experience in Figma, Adobe XD, Mailchimp, Canva and WordPress.
Candidates *must reside in the Lower Mainland of BC* and be willing to commute to Langley.
