ICS Electric is an established electrical contractor within the Greater Vancouver regional district and throughout the Fraser Valley since 2009. We have many exciting industrial and commercial projects coming up and ongoing that we are looking to fill openings for.
We are currently searching for highly motivated, skilled and experienced electricians who are ambitious to take the reins of their own career. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized and team oriented. Experience in new construction and renovations is highly desirable. Pipe bending experience is an asset.
Positions available:
- Red Seal Journeyman
- 4th year Apprentice
- 3rd year Apprentice
-1st/2nd year Apprentice
The journeyman will be given the opportunity to run small jobs, assist the foreman/lead hand on larger jobs as well as assisting with the training of apprentices.
This is a great opportunity for a promising electrical apprentice to learn the skills needed to work in the construction industry. The apprentice will be given opportunities to work closely with our red seal staff and get hands on training while they pursue their own red seal designation.
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Handle electrical voltage
- Adjust and connect wires and cables
- Install electrical fixtures
- Bend pipe
Expectations:
- Experience in commercial or industrial projects
- Experience with renovations and new construction
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- All the necessary hand tools, belts, drills and basic equipment
- Possess valid class 5 driver?s license and a vehicle
