JOB DESCRIPTION
* Manage and take full responsibility for the tender and construction process and improve opportunities to increase anticipated revenue by proposing alternate materials and or systems when applicable * Develop positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors * Accurately and independently review and interpret the plans and specifications * Capitalize on any changes to the contract * Develop and prepare detailed quotation for extras and changes to the contract in a timely manner * Explain the project in detail to the subcontractors and work with them to deliver competitive pricing * Analyzed bid proposals from sub trades * Issue purchase orders for materials and subcontractors * Formulate project schedules and budgets throughout the project, updating weekly as required * Attend all project site meeting, record minutes and distribute when required * Review/approve shop drawings submitted to clients * Complete and update all project submittals as per specifications * Manage project close out documents
Qualifications
* Post-secondary education in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 3 + year?s experience working in a construction coordination/project management role. * Comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, specifications and documentation. * Exceptional work ethic & excellent oral and written communication skills. * Strong organizational skills including planning and prioritizing. * Effective customer service skills. * Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Comfortable in a pressurized, time-sensitive environment. * Experience running multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project * Must be a team player * Willing to learn, training will be provided to the right candidate

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
