*Overview*
The Vitamin Shop is seeking a part-time Cashier available to work two shifts of 6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays at our location in downtown Victoria on Broad Street. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently.
*Duties*
* Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales transactions * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service * Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette * Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers * Familiarity with POS systems and retail merchandising techniques * Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
