*Role Overview*
Glow Orthodontics is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant for a key role as our *Orthodontic Records & Intake Specialist*.
If you have hands-on chairside experience but want to step away from fast-paced restorative turnover, this position focuses on clinical diagnostic intake and new patient consultations. You will work directly with patients to capture diagnostic records, handle digital workflows, and deliver an outstanding first impression for our practice.
No specialized orthodontic experience or formal CDA certification is required. We provide complete paid training on all 3D imaging tools, software, and clinical protocols.
*Primary Duties*
* *Digital Imaging & Scanning Assisting:* Assist in taking 3D intraoral scans and diagnostic digital X-rays (Panoramic and Cephalometric). * *Clinical Photography:* Capture high-quality intraoral and extraoral photos for diagnostic baseline records. * *In-House 3D Lab Work:* Prepare, print, and process 3D digital arch models for appliance design and treatment planning. * *New Patient Experience:* Welcome incoming patients and families, guide them through initial diagnostic steps, and assist the clinical team during consultations. * *Sterilization & Operatory Prep:* Maintain strict infection control standards, sterilize instruments, and prepare clinical bays for diagnostic procedures.
*Qualifications*
* *Clinical Experience:* Direct experience as a chairside dental assistant (uncertified/non-CDA candidates strongly encouraged). * *Tech-Savvy:* Comfortable learning digital impression software, modern X-ray systems, and clinical management platforms. * *Strong Interpersonal Skills:* Warm, clear communicator capable of putting patients of all ages at ease. * *Detail-Oriented:* Focused on capturing precise diagnostic records and maintaining high clinical standards.
