*Job Overview*:
Railtown Café & Catering is seeking a dedicated and reliable *Steward* (dishwasher) to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals committed to maintaining high-quality standards in cleanliness and organization within our catering kitchen. *Key Responsibilities*:
· Operate the dishwasher to clean and sanitize dishware and kitchen equipment.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, washrooms, and common areas.
· Assist with the daily cleaning and upkeep of kitchen areas.
· Dispose of waste and recycling following sanitation standards.
· Support kitchen staff by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies as needed.
- Support kitchen staff doing food prep when steward is not busy.
*Qualifications*:
* Previous experience is valued but not required; on the job training will be provided. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and initiative. * Strong organizational skills.
*Schedule:*
* Full-time: 32 to 40+ hours a week. * Availability of a minimum of 4 weekdays is required. * Availability from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM is required. * Schedule may change based on needs of the business. * Mostly Monday to Friday but must be available for weekend shifts.
