Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts create a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. Hosts leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail.The day to day:Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely mannerManage reservation and walk-in traffic using Open TableMonitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flowMaintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance areaAnswer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodationsSupport the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approachAssist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an assetStrong communication and organizational skillsCalm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindsetComfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable) - preferredA passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiencesValid Smart Serve Certification RequiredAvailable to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysThis is a full time positionLegally eligible to work in CanadaAdditional InformationThis is a current vacancy.Wage: $15Equity, Diversity & InclusionWe value and embrace diversity in all forms and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
