We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our golf course team from now until mid-November. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to golfers and maintaining efficient operations within the pro shop.
*Responsibilities:*
* Report to the Proshop Manager and follow employee guidelines. * Take tee time reservations and manage the tee time schedule. * Check-in tee times, collect fees, and provide a professional and friendly experience for golfers. * Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to inquiries in a courteous manner. * Sell merchandise in the pro shop, providing information about products when needed. * Handle equipment rentals, including power carts, pull carts, and rental clubs. * Communicate effectively with Players Assistants to ensure smooth golf course operations. * Assist other team members with general office work and tasks as needed. * Ensure guests are greeted immediately upon entering the pro shop.
*Requirements:*
* Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to follow guidelines and work collaboratively with a team. * Familiarity with golf operations and equipment is an asset. * Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. * Cash handling and point-of-sale experience. * Availability to work until mid-November.
Smart Serve will be required for those 18 and older.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.60-$17.60 per hour
