*Position Summary:*

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized *Billing Coordinator* to join our team on a *full-time, term basis as maternity leave coverage*. This position is expected to continue until approximately *September 2027*, with the *possibility of a long-term extension based on business needs and organizational requirements*.

The Billing Coordinator will support the timely and accurate processing of customer and vendor billing, invoice verification, document tracking, data entry, collection follow-ups, and other accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and able to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal team members.

*Responsibilities:*

* Process billing and review and verify customer pricing to ensure billing accuracy. * Track order documents and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and ensure they are uploaded to the logistics system. * Ensure all orders are entered and billed accurately and in a timely manner while meeting required deadlines. * Create customer invoices and send them to customers for payment processing. * Process vendor invoices, match invoices to orders, review and verify vendor charges, and communicate discrepancies to obtain adjustments when required. * Perform data entry in logistics and accounting systems. * Assist Accounts Receivable with collection matters and follow up on past-due balances. * Communicate with carriers and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries. * Perform other accounting duties as required. * Assist with general administrative responsibilities, including document filing, invoice matching, cheque preparation, and mailing.

*Required Skills:*

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. * Self-motivated and a quick learner, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude. * Previous experience in the trucking or transportation industry is preferred.

*Qualifications:*

* Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. * Proficiency with Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new logistics and billing systems. * Previous billing and collection experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who meets the above qualifications and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
