The role regularly supports multiple Victoria-area transit operating locations and works closely with operational leaders and front-line employees.Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will provide centralized coordination and administrative support for BC Transit's Attendance Management Program within the Victoria Regional Transit System (VRTS). Your primary focus will be supporting Operations People Leaders and People and Culture in the consistent administration of the program and process.You will monitor attendance information, maintain records, prepare reports, schedule and coordinate attendance management meetings, and support leaders in tracking employee participation and outcomes within the program.A key component of the role will involve identifying trends and patterns in attendance information and translating that information into meaningful reports, dashboards, and recommendations that support operational decision-making.You'll also support accommodation processes, coordinate documentation, assist with incident related documentation and investigations, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of attendance programs, processes, and practices.What you might love about this role...
