We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Level ll Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.
*Duties*
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical treatments * Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met * Take digital radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Itero technology when applicable * Manage patient records efficiently using dental software *TRACKER* an assest. * Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to enhance overall health outcomes * Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow * Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for daily procedures
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, new grads are welcomed to apply. * Familiarity with *Tracker* software is highly desirable. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.

* Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II from an accredited Canadian program * NDAEB certified * Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures * Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization processes

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
