About this role
*About Us:* We?re a concrete forming subcontractor specializing equally in structural and architectural work. Our projects are a 50/50 split between the two, and we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and a reliable team. We're currently looking for skilled, dependable formwork carpenters to join our crew.
*The Role:* We?re looking for carpenters with a strong attention to detail?especially since half of our projects involve landscape carpentry. You should be confident working with tools, assembling forms correctly, and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Build safe and secure forms for footings, walls, stairs, and slabs * Follow all on-site safety protocols * Read and interpret construction drawings (survey points provided) * Assist with rebar tying and assembly (asset) * Assist with concrete finishing (asset)
*Requirements:*
* Minimum 3 years of formwork carpentry experience * Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * Own basic hand tools and tool belt * Minimum Grade 10 English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
