*Star Tile Co Ltd. *has been in operation for over 60 years, supplying high-quality tile products and offering expert installation services to customers in both residential and commercial projects across the Lower Mainland. Our company is seeking an experienced Tilesetter with the following requirements and qualifications:
· Education: High School graduate.
· 3 to 5 years of experience in tile setting in both residential and commercial environments.
· Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime at various customer job sites across the Lower Mainland.
· Must communicate in English.
· This is an hourly union position. No piecework or subcontract work available.
*Job Duties: *
· Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered;
· Mix, apply and spread adhesive substances;
· Work with ceramic, mosaic, marble, quarry, stone and granite materials;
· Align and straighten tiles;
· Cut and fit tiles;
· Grout tiles;
· Remove and replace damaged tiles;
· Reinforce surfaces or build required underbases;
· Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite.

*Salary:* $38.40/hour and benefits as per collective agreement
