THE ROLEUnder the direction of Senior Manager, Data and Analytics Architecture, the Data Analyst will implement analytics solutions to ingest data from various sources, analyze complex datasets, and enable dashboard creation for business teams. They will reverse engineer existing data models, assess data quality, and support migration initiatives. The Data Analyst designs and develops data pipelines, performs ETL operations, and creates Power BI semantic models including business entities, relationships, and security requirements. They assist in implementing data governance frameworks while ensuring proper data mapping and transformation processes. Key responsibilities include data analysis to identify business insights, reverse engineering legacy systems, executing data migration strategies, developing ETL processes, creating Power BI semantic models, and developing dashboards and reports across development, testing, and production environments. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field AND several years of experience in application development, data analysis, database design or a related field Experience Data modeling methodologies (Star schema, Snowflake schema, ?) Database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL) Data quality frameworks and validation techniques Data profiling and data lineage documentation ETL/ELT processes and data transformation techniques Power BI semantic model development and DAX optimization Business intelligence and analytics solution implementation Reverse engineering of existing data systems and models Technical documentation and data mapping Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. Skills and Abilities Cross-functional team collaboration Technical skills: SQL Server (advanced SQL, stored procedures, optimization), SSIS, SSRS, SSMS Oracle (advanced SQL, PL/SQL) <span
