*Responsibilities and Duties: *
* Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant?s machinery and equipment, while improving processes. * Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors and relays. * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings and gears. * Ensure that replacement parts and other inventory are monitored and on order to minimize downtime * Repair and replace parts as required by the company?s preventative maintenance program * Tune equipment and ensure that adequate controls and safety measures are functional * Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic system faults * Continuously improve machine efficiency by identifying automation improvements and implementing correct actions * Demonstrate strong understanding of robotic and automation systems to optimize production performance and reduce downtime * Report maintenance activities, equipment performance and project progress to management through detailed work reports * Work in a safe professional manner always, adhering to Gizeh?s Policies, Provincial and Federal requirements * Perform other duties as assigned
*Qualifications and Requirements: *
* 442A Industrial Electrician or interprovincial license * Able to Read, interpret and modify electrical schematics * Strong experience with PLC Programming and motor controls troubleshooting * Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment. * Experience with robots and automation * Demonstrated ability to work
