Labourer II12 month term Help keep our community safe and clean!We are seeking a Labourer II to work in the Parks and Beaches branch that has a desire to serve Kelowna and its citizens. Primary duties include supporting horticulture team with planted bed maintenance including weeding, mulching, and plant care.Support for turf maintenance including, string trimming, edging and mowing. Other duties include irrigation repair, ground cleanliness - garbage collection and hard surface cleaning. Qualifications Good physical condition with sufficient strength and stamina to perform heavy manual work Ability to work well with other employees, the general public, and employees of other companies Experience performing general labourer duties Knowledge of sprinkler system installations, repair and maintenance Elementary knowledge of parks and ground maintenance Service Excellence BC Driver?s Licence Class 5 Help create Kelowna as a City of the Future.
