Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player.
