About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Install underground wiring and cables. Splice, join and connect wires. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Replace faulty components. Determine layout and installation procedures. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
