Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies. Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Inspection or testing specialization: Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Area of specialization: Assembly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity.
