Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Various locations. Video production company. Motion picture production company. Tasks: Co-ordinate the work of camera operators and other technical staff. Identify and list the necessary props required for performances. Supervise staff. Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment. Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes. Apply cosmetic and special effects make-up to performers. Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes. Prepare radio and television schedules. Schedule and oversee rehearsals.
