Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate and tend various wood processing machines to remove bark, knots and dirt from logs. Complete and maintain production reports. Operate and tend equipment to peel and slice veneer from logs and log sections. Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications. Start up, shut down, set up and adjust process equipment or machines. Set up, maintain and make minor repairs to machinery. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
