Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Tasks: Inspect maintenance work done by aircraft mechanics. Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Industrial processes and products experience: Quality assurance and control. Area of work experience: Aircraft/aerospace manufacturing. Structural repair experience - aircraft: Aircraft structures - general. Aircraft composite structures. Type of industry experience: Aircraft manufacturing. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
