About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas.
