Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Prepare sales or other contracts. Identify and solicit potential clients. Provide clients with information. Negotiate rates and terms. Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems. Calculate costs of orders. Prepare reports. Perform data entry. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Promote sales to existing clients. Conduct sales transactions. Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions. Conduct sales calls. Store, update and maintain databases. Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Area of work experience: Sales and marketing promotions. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
