About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
