Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Visually inspect products for quality. Cut glass along marked outlines or around pattern using hand tools. Examine and mark defective glass to obtain the best cut. Operate process control machinery to cut glass or assemble glass window units. Place pattern on or under glass for cutting. Place sheet of glass on padded table or in jig and measure and mark glass. Smooth rough edges using belt sander or smoothing wheels. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Ear plugs. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Day.
