What You'll Do
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll play a key role in diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities include:
• Performing a range of ultrasound exams: abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, breast, and more
• Assisting with invasive procedures such as biopsies
• Educating and preparing patients for procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality
• Communicating effectively with medical staff and departments to coordinate patient care
• Maintaining clean, well-stocked, and fully operational equipment and exam rooms
• Supporting quality assurance and infection control procedures
• Documenting exams, billing, and clerical tasks related to the ultrasound department
Who You'll Bring:
• A graduate of an accredited program with eligibility or registration through ARDMS (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Able to adapt in urgent situations and maintain professionalism under pressure
• Dedicated to patient-centered care and collaboration across healthcare teams
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and movement
