UCT is looking for a talented Engineer I to join us in Cebu!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Generate accurate, complete, and clear manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and Bluebeam. • Develop CAD models of parts and assemblies from 2D drawings, customer prints, and sketches. • Understand the manufacturing process from concept development through detailing and production release. • Calculate and verify production blueprints to ensure compliance with customer requirements. • Utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to set up and release parts for production. • Utilize SAP for routing setup, process changes, and other manufacturing modifications. • Work closely with the Estimating Team to review Costed BOM labor hours based on actual production builds. • Submit Agile Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for required part deviations and process updates. • Coordinate with Customer Program Managers and Specialists regarding missing customer documentation, attachments, and customer-related concerns. • Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality. • Design and support tooling and fixturing requirements for production builds. • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work across different schedules and shifts as required by business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts when necessary. • Perform other related duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. • Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field required.

Experience Requirement: • One (1) year or more of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
