Ranches at Lake McLeod, located in Eagle Lake, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Houseperson! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Key Responsibilities:
• Completes cleaning and maintenance related duties as assigned including sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
• Updates Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a necessary level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects Clubhouse and surrounding amenities daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Security procedures and precautions must be followed at all times.
• Completes daily work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, and crouches.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
• Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
Education and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform duties.
Additional Information:
• Potential shift schedule: 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm; hours may vary based on operational and seasonal needs.
• Uniform: Polo with khaki pants (khaki or navy) and sneakers (uniform may be provided in the near future).
