Schedule Details:

• Morning Shifts Only (No Evenings, No Weekends!)

• Weeks 1–4 of Module: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8:00 AM – 12:20 PM)

• Weeks 5–6 of Module: Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 12:20 PM)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced healthcare professional who loves the puzzle of administrative medical workflows to join our faculty and teach our Shared First Sequence classes !

Pima Medical Institute is seeking a Shared First Sequence Instructor for our Seattle campus . In this role, you will guide entry-level students through essential foundational modules across our Medical Assistant (MA), Healthcare Administration Certificate (HCAC), and Medical Billing & Coding (MBC) programs .

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum Execution:

• Lesson Implementation: Implement and evaluate daily lesson plans for students, including scheduled classroom activities and module materials .

• Objective-Based Planning: Plan instruction to achieve specific learning objectives based on student needs and established curriculum standards .

• Lectures & Demonstrations: Prepare lectures and practical demonstrations in core healthcare administrative and office skills .

Student Progress & Academic Administration:

• Performance Evaluation: Evaluate student performance regarding achievements in the curriculum and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs .

• Attendance Tracking: Maintain accurate student attendance records in accordance with established institutional policies .

• Advising & Support: Assist, advise, and mentor students through the First Sequence curriculum .

Enrichment & Classroom Safety:

• Enrichment Activities: Arrange and coordinate guest speakers, community service field trips, and visits to local clinics and medical offices .

• Classroom Supervision: Monitor students in the classroom and lab environments to ensure safety precautions and biohazard protocols are strictly followed .

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Education & Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Healthcare Administration program recognized by the USDE or CHEA (or equivalent recognized training entity) AND three (3) years of occupational (practical) experience in Healthcare Administration .

OR

• A minimum of four (4) years of job-related training and experience for instructors who are not graduates of an accredited Healthcare Administration program .

• Technical Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and general computer applications .

Required Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations:

• Current license, certification, or other designation as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the Healthcare Administration field .

Compensation & Part-Time Benefits

• Hiring Range: $24.96 to $29.96 per hour.

• Schedule: Part-Time Morning Schedule (M/W/F 8:00 AM – 12:20 PM for weeks 1–4; M–F 8:00 AM – 12:20 PM for weeks 5–6).
