About this role

• The Communications Specialist will use a blend of creative and technical skills to collaboratively strengthen our collateral and advertising efforts externally and internally. This person will utilize their expertise in written and visual communication, project coordination, problem-solving and graphic design to support the strategic goals of Mosaic plus maintain and enhance our brand image.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the Communications team, collaborating to create and share effective written and visual messaging for internal and external audiences.

• Serve as primary lead for Mosaic external and internal signage projects, including working with external vendors to create and install comprehensive signage packages, coordinate repairs/replacements for existing/special circumstances signage and maintain adherence to compliance standards.

• Coordinate implementation of external and internal communications plans, including production and distribution of Mosaic collateral and advertising materials and facilitation of media buys/campaigns.

• Oversee content and publication of bi-monthly internal staff newsletter and other written materials, tracking effectiveness and making recommendations for new engagement efforts.

• Provide support for Mosaic website and intranet updates, social media/online reputation management efforts, digital communications, graphic design and other projects per articulated strategies and plans and as requested.

• Responsible for drafting, printing and mailing of patient letters and conducting health literacy reviews for patient-facing documents.

• Coordinate with vendors to maintain Mosaic Market, facilitate swag item orders and maintain online print ordering site.

• Monitor the team email inbox, coordinate and implement purchase order/payment processes and facilitate receipt and distribution of packages and collateral for the Communications team.

• Support organizational events and event processes.

• Conduct basic photography.

• Stay current on communications best practices and trends. Make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

• Handle protected health information in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
