About this role

Luck Companies is looking to hire an IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business needs and technology solutions. This role partners with stakeholders across the organization to define requirements, prioritize work, conduct user research, and coordinate delivery, ensuring our technology investments are grounded in real user insights and aligned with business strategy. Essential Functions:

30% of job: Analysis & Process Improvement ● Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. ● Work with business and technical teams to develop technology solutions that solve business challenges. ● Document business requirements, workflows, system needs, testing plans, and implementation processes.

30% of job: Project Ownership & Delivery ● Gather business requirements and turn them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams. ● Manage priorities, timelines, and project deliverables to ensure successful product releases. ● Coordinate user testing, resolve issues before launch, and communicate project updates to stakeholders. ● Create user documentation, training materials, and release notes to support successful adoption of new features.

20% of job: User Research & Experience ● Conduct user interviews, surveys, and research to understand customer needs and improve products. ● Analyze research findings and create process flows, user journeys, and recommendations that guide product decisions. ● Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure solutions are user friendly and aligned with business goals.

20% of job: Collaboration & Strategy ● Build strong relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners. ● Help develop product roadmaps by balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical requirements. ● Present recommendations, project updates, and insights to stakeholders using data to support decision making.

Technical Competencies ● Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) ● Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps ● Strong understanding of business process analysis and process redesign concepts ● Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and iterative delivery practices ● Knowledge of UX best practices, Design Thinking methodologies, and accessibility principles ● Experience using UX research and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision, SurveyMonkey) ● Familiarity with data analytics and ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions ● Understanding of enterprise business applications and software delivery lifecycle ● iOS/Android experience a plus

What You Bring

Experience: 5+ years in a Business/Data Analysis, Project Management, System Management or closely related role. Exposure to enterprise business applications and digital product delivery is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365, hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Azure DevOps, and familiarity with UX research and prototyping tools such as Figma or InVision.

Certifications: Agile/Scrum (CSPO, PSPO) or UX certifications are a plus, but not required.

Schedule Onsite, standard office hours with occasional exposure to plant and quarry conditions.
