Homestead Village is a thriving non-profit, CARF-CCAC accredited, Life Plan Community located just outside downtown Lancaster. We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, & passionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to work in our Supportive Services Department.
Location:
• Main Apartment Building - Supportive Services Department
Base Pay: Determined based upon years of experience, plus applicable shift & weekend differentials.
Full Time Schedule:
9:00am-4:30pm; Monday-Friday; including occasional weekends/overnights based on program needs
Shift/Weekend Differentials:
• $1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm
• $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in related field or comparable education/degree
• CPR, AED, & First Aid Certified or ability to become certified.
• Satisfactory completion of the Personal Care Home Direct Care Staff Person Training Program.
• Ability to speak appropriately & confidently in large or small group settings.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include day, occasional evening, & weekend hours as program needs require.
• Ability to safely perform the essential job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
Essential Job Responsibilities: (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered all inclusive)
• Host and facilitate on-site events such as concerts, educational programs, etc. and project a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Chaperone and facilitate off-site events such as meals and local excursions, working with Homestead Village's Transportation team.
• Collaborate with the Thrive Team to provide diverse activity offerings
• Plan and create a monthly calendar of activities/programs to meet the needs of residents in Supportive Services to include at least one of the following: (1) Physical Activity, (2) Social Activity, (3) Educational Activity, (4) Sensory Activity, (5) Music Activity.
• Coordinates monthly Supportive Service resident forum meetings.
• Perform 1 on 1 visitation with residents who are unable or disinterested in leaving their apartment.
• Coordinate room setups and food service for scheduled programs.
• Work collectively with Supportive Services team members to assist in facilitating planned programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
