About this role
Shift: Straight Days (7:00-3:30pm); 2-Week Rotational Shifts as required
Key Responsibilities
• Read schedules, labels, and paperwork accurately and complete documentation on time.
• Load trailers in the correct sequence while maximizing space and securing freight properly.
• Safely handle, prepare, label, and load products without damage.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including shrink wrap machines and ladders/step stools.
• Use department computer systems including Load Builder, DC Packager, Bin Locator, and Pallet Builder.
• Support team operations, Lean initiatives, and maintain a clean work area at the end of each shift.
• Assist with special freight and product returns as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required; Good driving record and ability to work and maintain a larger truck safely.
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs daily.
• A strong commitment to safety and proper use of required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes).
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping environments is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn department systems.
• Dependability, teamwork, and pride in producing top-quality components.
