POSITION: Game Day Content Creator DEPARTMENT: Content REPORTS TO: Manager, Content
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Game Day Content Creator plays a crucial role in Canucks Game Day storytelling on social media. The role is responsible for live-clipping and editing game highlights, creating score graphics from templates, and publishing content to CSE channels. The role requires keen attention to detail, a social media focused eye for content, and an awareness of team storylines. This role will work closely with the Content and Social Media teams for all 84 regular-season games and additional pre-season games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPOSNSIBILITIES:
• Support social and content team with deliverables before, during, and post-game
• Actively watch the broadcast and in-bowl activations for highlights to clip
• Make note of key plays and broadcast calls to support the Content Team
• Edit short form highlights for social media
• Update score graphic templates
• Edit and upload post-game media availabilities
• Ensure all published work is up to brand guidelines
• Works all 84 regular-season home and away games and pre-season games
YOU MUST HAVE:
• At least 1 year of experience creating content for a junior/university/professional level sports team
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
• A meticulous eye for the small details
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Available to work evenings and weekends at Rogers Arena
