Job Summary/Overview Qualified and experienced Lifting Machinery Inspector to join the Lifting Stores team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically driven professional who is passionate about lifting equipment, inspections, services support, quality assurance, and innovation. The employee will play a key role in the inspection, testing, certification, repair, commissioning, and quality control of lifting machinery and lifting tackle, while also contributing to services support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct statutory inspections and certification of lifting machinery and lifting tackle. Perform proof load testing, commissioning, and acceptance testing. Diagnose and repair cranes, hoists, winches, jacks, and associated lifting equipment. Prepare inspection reports, certificates, and compliance documentation. Participate in digital inspection, mobile application, and IoT development initiatives. Provide technical support and guidance to customers. Ensure compliance with OHSA, relevant SANS standards, and company procedures.
