Ready to suit up as a Corporate Security Guard As an Overnight Security Guard , you'll play a critical role in protecting the site during non-business hours. This position is ideal for a highly observant and proactive security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment. You'll be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, conducting regular interior and exterior patrols, responding to alarms and emergencies, and identifying potential security risks before they escalate. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to remain vigilant throughout the overnight shift. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Conduct interior and exterior patrols. Perform access control and verify authorized personnel. Remove trespassers and address unauthorized access. Complete incident reports and security logs. Provide first aid and coordinate with emergency services when required. Communicate and coordinate with emergency services and first responders when required. Qualifications for Corporate Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid BC security license OFA 1 First Aid Certification - Required A minimum of 6 months of previous concierge experience - Required Strong report writing and technology skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Exceptional customer service skills This could be more than a job!
