FLSA Status NA Job Role Summary The Advanced Practice RN (APRN) –Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) works as an educator, advocate and care provider and is responsible for the care and well-being of patients being seen for perioperative care and medical clearance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Complete history and physicals for patient’s undergoing elective surgeries Optimize comorbidities of patient’s undergoing elective surgeries Perform risk stratification for patient’s undergoing elective surgeries Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging and various cardiac diagnostic testing Obtain accurate medication reconciliations and provide perioperative medication management Consult with various specialties as needed (Anesthesia, Surgery, Internal Medicine) Refer patients to various specialties as needed for further preoperative evaluation and optimization Job Requirements NA Knowledge, Skills & Abilities NA Minimum Qualifications, Training, and Experience Eskenazi Health has been named to Becker's Hospital Review's 2018 list of "150 Great Places to Work In Health Care."
