Job Overview Monitors actual performance against goals and oversees the procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. Job Requirements Coaching plant leadership to use Kanban & lean tools, leading and supporting supply chain improvement projects across teams. Identifying and investigating root causes to provide guidance and future actions and strategy, and implementing inventory plans to meet business objectives. Collaborating with supply chain partners for end-to-end optimization and managing demand planning and forecasting. Managing and monitoring storage of purchased parts and finished goods and overseeing the inventory levels to meet business requirements. What your background should look like Key Responsibilities Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical usage to develop and execute production and material planning strategies. Partner with cross-functional teams to align production plans with customer demand while optimizing cost, service, and inventory levels. Lead the production scheduling process, balancing demand, capacity, inventory targets, and business priorities. Monitor demand versus capacity and develop mitigation plans for capacity constraints, material shortages, and demand fluctuations. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply chain constraints. Drive planning strategies that support business objectives, customer service goals, and operational performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning effectiveness, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and schedule stability. Make data-driven decisions and lead problem-solving activities to address operational and customer challenges. Establish and monitor planning KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability standards. Develop recovery plans to minimize disruptions caused by shortages, capacity constraints, or customer escalations. Leadership Responsibilities Build, develop, and lead a high-performing planning team focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coach and mentor team members to strengthen technical, analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Drive talent development through succession planning, cross-training, and career growth initiatives. Promote a culture of customer focus, operational excellence, teamwork, and ownership. Ensure employees have clear objectives, development plans, and regular performance feedback. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, or related leadership roles. SAP Production Planning (PP) module experience required. Advanced English proficiency. Strong background in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, MPS, Inventory Management, and Material Planning. Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems and planning processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance customer expectations and business requirements. Lean Manufacturing knowledge (Scheduling Techniques, Pull Systems, Flow, Continuous Improvement) preferred. Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
