Customer Service Agent – Export Operator Immingham Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00 or 08:00 – 16:00 The successful candidate will be dealing with Export shipments and Export customer services, for general accounts and larger key account customers. What will you be doing? Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their traffic requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions. Receive bookings from UK Exporters either via our online booking platform or by e-mail Contact UK places to book in collections. Instructing UK Warehouse and Distribution teams for loading/offloading of cargo to vehicles using our Transport Management System. Liaise with other DSV offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements. Ensure legislative compliance in all areas. Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment. Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. invoicing, filing, queries, claims, POD handling Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures. About You Previous experience within freight/transport would be advantageous Self-driven, good attention to details with a positive outlook Excellent customer services skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Proficient in the use of MS Office What can we offer you?
