The Role: We are looking for an experienced property professional to join the leadership team within the Property Services Operations function. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of building surveyors and engineers, delivering planned maintenance, energy and project work across Hampshire County Council’s Corporate Estate. This is an opportunity to shape a significant programme of work that helps ensure our buildings remain safe, sustainable, efficient and fit for the future. What you’ll do: This is a critical and rewarding role, responsible for managing multiple multi-million-pound programmes comprising projects of varying value and complexity, while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. You will lead planned maintenance, energy and project programmes across a diverse portfolio of HCC Corporate Estate assets, including council offices, farms, museums, historic buildings, registered care homes, libraries and country parks. You will also play an important role in supporting procurement activity, making effective use of our extensive existing frameworks, contracts and contractor arrangements to deliver programmes efficiently and successfully.
