Roles and responsibilities The MC – IT Advisory EPM team is seeking an Assistant Manager (Oracle Hyperion Planning Specialist) to join the growing EPM practice. We are looking for a consulting professional with a strong understanding of EPM solutions, industry’s best practices, and associated business processes. The role would require:
• Support end-to-end delivery of Oracle Hyperion Planning / EPBCS implementations
• Contribute to solution design and assist in architecture for budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Support project delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, quality, and client communication
• Guide and mentor junior team members; support capability-building initiatives
• Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions within defined timelines
• Facilitate workshops and assist in providing best-practice recommendations to clients
• Contribute to pre-sales activities such as solutioning, estimations, and proposal development
Requirement End-to-end implementation experience in Planning & Budgeting projects Strong expertise in:
• EPBCS / PBCS (Cloud) or Hyperion Planning (On-Prem)
• Hands-on experience with EPBCS OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) modules such as Financials, Workforce, and Capex
• Budgeting and forecasting processes
• Workforce and Capex planning
• Financial modeling and scenario planning
• Business Rules & Calc Scripts
• Forms, Task Lists, Security, and Planning artifacts
• Essbase (BSO/ASO), MDX member formulas
Experience in:
• Application tuning and performance optimization
• Data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
• Data movement and Integration across systems
Good to Have Experience with:
• FDMEE / Data Integration / FDQM
• Smart View, HFR
Good understanding of:
• DRM / EDM concepts
• Exposure to Groovy Script/APIs / automation tools (good to have)
Experience & Background
• 7– 9 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion / EPM
• Experience across multiple implementation lifecycles
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) / MBA / MCA
