What is Expected of You
As our IT Officer, you’ll be a crucial force driving reliable, secure, and user-focused technology support in Ethiopia. How You’ll Deliver Impact
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly, and users get the maximum benefit from them
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Install, configure, and support the roll-out of new hardware and software systems
• Set up new user accounts on application systems, ensure 24/7/365 reliable systems availability
• Company IT devices Inventory Management: Keeping track of all the hardware the company owns, including computers, printers, servers, mobile devices, and specialized equipment. This would involve regularly updating an inventory system, labeling items, and ensuring equipment is in the correct location
• Implementation of IT policies and IT standard operating procedures to ensure the effective operation of our information systems across the organization
What We Are Looking For
• 2-5 years of work experience directly related to the duties listed.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ICT or related field.
• Data Visulaization / Power BI/Python
• Strong understanding of MS 365, Networking, Cyber Security, Cloud & Mobile Technology and Project Management
• Good communicator and leadership skills
• An Ethiopian National / Resident
