Position Summary

The Program Associate provides administrative, logistical and relationship management support to Sagesse's intervention programming across Alberta. This role helps ensure programs are delivered consistently, effectively and in alignment with organizational goals while supporting community partnerships and program improvement. Preference for this position will be given to those who live in Southern Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery & Support

• Build and maintain relationships with intervention partnership sites across Alberta

• Support implementation and delivery of intervention programs

• Assist with integrating research and emerging practices into program delivery

Peer Support

• Identify, develop and engage with peer support partner sites across Alberta in collaboration with the Peer Support Coordinator

• Implement, maintain, and support program delivery based on program design

Real Talk

• Identify , develop and engage with Real Talk partnerships and opportunities across Alberta in collaboration with the Real Talk Coordinator

• Engage in facilitation of Real Talk program, including leading workshops and partnership collaboration internally and externally

Volunteer

• Support implementation of volunteer standards, policies, procedures and guidelines with direction from agency leadership

• Support screening, onboarding, training, evaluation and appreciation of agency volunteers

• Support implementation of volunteer wellness and belonging

Program Administration

• Communicate program updates and changes to partnership sites

• Maintain accurate data and organizational records

• Coordinate program scheduling and tracking

• Report on monthly activities and statistics

• Attend supervision and staff meetings

Office Operations Support

• Carry out office systems and administrative duties as assigned

• Support organizational processes and maintain documentation

• Participate in onsite office responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience, skills, and/or interest in administrative and logistical support

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Comfort with a hybrid work environment and virtual technology

• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting community-based, non-profit, or social service programs

• Experience coordinating multiple projects or partnerships.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or through telecommuting arrangements

• A blend of administrative, logistical, relationship management, and program support responsibilities.

• Occasional evening and weekend commitments

• Travel around province as required, with ability to travel to the main office in Calgary at minimum twice per calendar year

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Reports to: REAL Talk Coordinator

Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday daytime hours, with some evenings and weekends required

Location: Alberta-based (Primarily remote, with travel around the province and to the main office in Calgary required as needed.

Benefits: Eligible for Sagesse Benefits program after 3-month probation period
