About this role
Role Purpose: Handle and negotiate property damage claims for personal injury clients, ensuring damages are properly documented, valued, and resolved for maximum recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate property damage, causation, liability, and financial impact.
• Review repair estimates, photos, inspection reports, policies, and supporting documents.
• Identify undervalued damages, coverage issues, and improper denials.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, carriers, repair shops, contractors, and attorneys.
• Prepare damage evaluations, repair estimates, and claim summaries.
• Negotiate with insurance carriers for fair settlements.
• Track claims from intake through resolution and follow up consistently.
• Support attorneys and case managers with property-damage expertise.
• Maintain accurate documentation in claims/case management systems.
Ideal Candidate:
• 5–8 years of property damage/insurance adjusting experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and adjusting practices.
• Proven experience evaluating damages and negotiating settlements.
• Strong analytical, investigative, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency; Spanish-speaking preferred/required.
• Experience managing multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in claims-management software and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience working the night shift or graveyard shift is strongly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to consistently work 12:00 midnight–9:00 AM, on-site in BGC.
Preferred:
• Personal injury law firm or insurance carrier experience.
• Auto property damage and total-loss claims experience.
• Filevine or similar case-management experience.
• Xactimate, CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex experience.
• Insurance/claims certifications.
